The Training Bureau is and has a wealth of experience in the Care Sector. The Training Bureau offers courses suitable for both new and experienced workers within the Care Industry.

At the training bureau we are committed to providing the highest quality of training and can offer a complete training package to suit the needs of your business.

We offer a range of courses from Induction training focusing on Common Induction Standards and mandatory training requirements, to more in depth courses which focus on advancing learning.

We can tailor a training programme that focuses on keeping your staff up to date with all their training for mandatory training courses and for First Aid Training.

Specialist Courses

Alongside the mandatory and standard courses, we can run bespoke training if you require something specific, for example Effective Communication and Record Keeping. Sending some of your more experienced staff on courses such as these, adds to your skill pool and gives your clients a better service. By investing in training your staff it will also improve staff confidence, improve job satisfaction and staff retention.

Training Environment

Our training environments are professional classrooms that have been designed for purpose. All training centres benefit from the most up to date equipment specific to the care sector including hoists, hospital beds, slip sheets. This enables the trainers to deliver practical training and demonstrations; to ensure all delegates get the best opportunity to fully understand the subject.

Trainers

All of our trainers are highly experienced both within the training arena, and prior practical experience within the care sector. All of our manual handling trainers are kept up to date with the latest techniques and legislation. We have a number of Trained and Registered Nurses available to advise on best practice and the more technical aspects of any courses. This ensures the highest quality of delivery.

Training Sessions

Our training methods use a variety of teaching to provide an interactive and diversified mode of study. The training style we use incorporates tutor lead instruction and information, discussions, written assessments to ensure learning has been digested, interactive tools, and practical demonstrations; including participating in group work. Plenty of opportunity is given to delegates to ask questions and participate in open discussions surrounding training topics.

All handouts provided during the session are professionally designed and produced, to provide not only assistance whilst training, but as a reference tool for all delegates who attend.

Ease of booking

One of the challenges facing employers when organising training is the minimum numbers that many training companies require. We understand that some organisations simply cannot afford to have diminishing staff numbers due to training, particularly in the care sector. However the Training Bureau is different- we have no minimum booking numbers, no prepayments and your delegates attend our premises in a fully functional training environment. This means you can have your staff trained as and when you need it, rather than having to postpone training waiting for numbers to rise to make it worth your while.

Flexibility

The courses have been designed to be flexible in both the number of delegates, and the total number of courses taken. In addition we can provide bespoke courses on an ad hoc basis and have the flexibility to provide courses such as Infection Control if it is urgently required. We also understand how staffing requirement can change abruptly and our cancellation policy means that if we are given sufficient notice no charge will be incurred, or delegates can be substituted for other members of staff.
